Every member of the ASB & Associates team plays an important role in supporting our clients and upholding the values that define our firm. Together, we work collaboratively across accounting, financial planning and mortgage broking to deliver practical advice, clear guidance and long-term support.

Kerri Fulton
Accountant
CPA-qualified with over 30 years in public practice, Kerri brings extensive experience and expertise to support clients’ accounting and business needs. She values building strong relationships and providing reliable, professional service.
Outside of work, Kerri doesn’t really have any hobbies per se but treasures spending quality time with family and friends.
Mackenzie Hurst
Administration
Mackenzie has been part of the ASB team for 8 years, starting in reception and growing into her current roles in Financial Services and Bookkeeping. She enjoys supporting clients across a variety of needs and values building strong relationships while being part of a supportive team.
Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys movie nights with her husband, catching up with friends, and playing with her dog, Lotti.
Matthew Howard
Accountant
Matthew Howard is an experienced accountant at ASB & Associates with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Law) and 20 years of expertise in financial reporting and tax compliance.
Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering and supporting the Cricket and Football.
Lisa Stackman
Client Services Officer
Lisa has been part of ASB Financial Services and ASB Mortgage Brokers for 11 years, starting in Reception/Administration and progressing to her current role as Client Services Officer. She supports Catherine and clients across the full range of services and loves building relationships with the firm’s wonderful clients.
Outside the office, Lisa enjoys reading, watching sport, catching up with friends, date nights with her husband, and spending time with their dog, Basil.
Catherine Chalker
Director, Financial Planner & Mortgage Broker
Catherine has been in the finance industry for over 40 years, including 19 years with ASB Financial Services and ASB Mortgage Brokers. She enjoys guiding clients through every stage of life — from buying their first home to moving into aged care — and building lasting relationships along the way.
Outside work, Catherine loves binge-watching thrillers, spending time with family and friends, and sharing the occasional groan-worthy joke.
John Rannie
Accountant
John is a CPA-qualified accountant with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and over 20 years at ASB & Associates. He specialises in preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, super funds, and trusts.
Outside of work, John enjoys watching football (soccer), mountain biking, and spending quality time with his wife and two boys.
Chris Kleeman
Director & Accountant
Chris joined the ASB team in 2020, bringing strategic financial expertise and a passion for helping people and businesses thrive. He works closely with clients to simplify complexity, unlock growth, and build long-term success.
A devoted father of two, Chris enjoys family adventures, local sports, and travel, bringing the same energy and commitment to life as he does to his work.
Rebecca Larwood
Bookkeeping
Rebecca joined ASB in 2013, starting in administration before developing her expertise in bookkeeping. She supports clients with bookkeeping, payroll, compliance, and day-to-day account management, ensuring finances run smoothly and accurately. Rebecca enjoys the friendly team environment at ASB and values the strong relationships built with clients.
Outside work, she spends time with her husband and their two daughters.
Adam Loes
Accountant
Adam has been part of ASB since March 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Accounting with a Joint Study in Finance from CSU. He works closely with Chris and Kerri, preparing tax returns, BAS, and SMSF annual returns, helping clients stay on top of their financial obligations.
Outside of work, you will most likely find Adam watching footy. He is an avid Collingwood supporter.
Tracey Jones
Administration & Office Manager
Part of the ASB & Associates team since 2013, Tracey manages the day-to-day administration and office operations that keep everything running smoothly for both clients and staff. She values the close-knit team culture at ASB and enjoys working with clients who make every day rewarding.
Outside the office, she spends time with family and friends, supports her daughters at netball, cheers on the Hawks, and enjoys gardening – the weeding part not so much.
Kate Pellow
Accountant
Kate joined ASB & Associates in 2023 and supports clients with their accounting and compliance needs. She loves being part of the supportive, close-knit team and enjoys helping clients stay organised.
Outside of work, Kate can be found gardening, camping with her family, or keeping up with her young kids.
Meg Hassall
Receptionist
Meg has been part of the ASB team for 2 years, where she manages calls, appointments, and keeps the office running smoothly (and occasionally secures the almond croissants!). She loves building relationships with clients and enjoying the friendly banter within the team.
Outside the office, Meg enjoys socialising with friends, attending concerts, travelling, playing netball with the Marrar Football Netball Club, and being the fun auntie to her niece and nephews.
Stephen Byrnes
Director & Accountant
Steve has been a partner at ASB since 1994, bringing over 35 years of experience in accounting, financial planning, and taxation for small and medium businesses and family groups. He is committed to providing practical, personalised advice to help clients achieve their business and financial goals.
Outside work, Steve enjoys family time, community involvement, reading, camping, gardening, fitness, travel, and a long-standing passion for racing, including his annual Derby Day tradition at Flemington.
